Ok, let's try that again

Truly, I have been away a while.

But maybe, just maybe, it's time to give it another go.

So, let's try shall we? Here goes.

Apparently Katie Hopkins has said Gazza should crack on with drinking.

Hopkins, apparently is a former Apprentice contestant who is still described only as 'a former Apprentice contestant', suggesting she hasn't really done much since.

And you can see why. Admittedly, despite the confusing headline, she hasn't suggested Gazza supplement his alcohol intake with a nice drop of crack (very moreish). But she has said of the weepy Geordie soccer twat's drinking,“It’s a behaviour. Gazza likes drinking, let him crack on."

So far, so disappointing.

But then it all becomes clear.

"Adding to her outspoken comments, Hopkins said that it was "harder to love" ginger babies, that fat people should pay for their own NHS treatment and that John Inverdale "was so right" in his comments about Wimbledon finalist Marion Bartoli."

Aha. Now I get it. Fed up with being just a 'former Apprentice idiot', Ms Hopkins has consulted a PR smartypants who has suggested that there's room in the market for a female Jeremy Clarkson. If she can cushion the being widely hated with just enough cash and sports cars, it might just work.

Although she's not there yet. For maximum offence, she should have gone for the headline that I originally misread.
