True grit

I have a new hero.

This guy bet on himself to live for one year, and two years after being diagnosed with terminal cancer and he has picked up the winnings for both of them.

But that's not the impressive thing. Oh no.

The impressive thing is his response to his original diagnosis.

"When I was diagnosed I was told mesothelioma was a death sentence. I wasn't that fussed because everyone has to die some time."

I was quite fussed when I lost my keys earlier today.

Now I feel a bit sheepish.
