Don't Fawcett

Gosh, poor old Farrah Fawcett is dead.

(the following obituary has been compiled from a range of google results)

Famed, of course, for her pin up status as The Face of the Seventies and as the creator of a popular eighties trouser, fewer people are aware of her society which works towards gender equality in the UK.

Farrah shot to fame after marrying Lee Majors, although there were some who claimed the marriage was a sham and Farrah a gold-digger, only after Majors' six-million dollar fortune.

In fact the marriage was indeed to come to a premature end, forcing Majors to return to work. Fortunately, having been fully rebuilt and capable of amazing physical feats, he found plenty of work as a stuntman. In fact, so successful was he, it was often said that it was his work that made Eastwood such a star.

Meanwhile, Fawcett found independent fame when she joined the crimebusting trio Charlie's Angels as the fit blonde one, although personally I always fancied Jaclyn Smith more.

Often undercover yet simultaneously largely uncovered, Fawcett and the girls battled such crimes including money laundering, protection rackets and the rising popularity of flares.

Fawcett retired from crimefighting after a near-fatal incident trying to change the sheets on a bed which was actually on fire at the time. Fortunately she survived with minor burns and an emmy nomination.

Rarely out of the tabloids as a result of her inter-species relationship with a rhino called Neil, Fawcett continued to appear on various television shows, usually playing 'Is that Farrah Fawcett?'.

Farrah was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and died today.

Goodbye Farrah, you were super.

R.I.P.
