Pointing the finger
You know I normally go on about how the papers frequently splash out any old speculation and present it as true?Well the Metro today seems to have gone some distance the other way. The story is about Didier Drogba apparently giving the crowd at a soccerball match an obscene gesture.
The story says... "The striker threw the object, believed to be a coin, back into the crowd after scoring the opening goal and also appeared to gesture at the away fans."
I repeat, "Appeared to gesture at fans"
Again "Appeared to."

Now I'm all in favour of 'innocent until proven guilty' but honestly, I'd go so far as to say he quite evidently did give an obscene gesture to the crowd.
Not that they didn't necessarily deserve it, mind you.
