A little mouse with clogs on
It appears that Mickey (nee Mortimer) Mouse is having his 80th birthday.Yes, the once-sprightly Mickey is now grey and fuzzy around the ears. Where once he used to skip and frolic with all the other mice, ducks, dogs and whatever the fuck goofy was supposed to be, he now just sits in a rocking chair on his porch, shouting at kids to get off his lawn. Probably.
And did you know, Mickey once spent several cartoons attempting to commit suicide?

There is a story about one of the Disney cartoonists doing a little cartoon of Mickey banging Minnie, as a silly little joke for Walt's birthday, way back in the mists of time. Everyone in the office, including Walt, laughed and laughed when it was shown. Next day Walt sacked the cartoonist. What a nice man.
