OK, next question. Do you think I should quit my job.I told my boss I'd tell him one way or the other on my return from Stockholm.
In other news, I'm going to Stockholm on Thursday.
Also, I went to an orgy at the weekend.

Aha! A dilemma I feel qualified to help you on Peter.
Don't think about it for a whole day. Go to bed and the moment you wake up in the morning, ask yourself the question (write yourself a prompt if you think you'll need a reminder).
The right answer will probably be immediately obvious.
You didn't seem so happy the other week (mind you, neither did I, but for different reasons), so it might be time for a change.
How about getting another job first, though ? Sorry to be conventional on this occasion, but...
Was the orgy any good, i.e. were there Twiglets and drinks, as well as the skilfully-animated butcher's shop window ?
Are you experimenting with new forms of torture by mentioning in passing that you are thinking of quitting your job and that you went to an orgy without offering any detail on either?
Orgy- when, where, why (ok, maybe obvious) and with whom?
Job- why do you want to leave? Some more questions: do you leave work on Fridays dreading the return on Monday? Do you feel that hating your job is ruining an otherwise great life? Have you thought about what you would do instead? If the answer to one or more of the question is 'yes' then you should go. (But I agree with Barry that lining up an alternative is a good idea..)
