Flown away

Well, it was Yuki's wing ceremony yesterday so the 6 weeks of struggle finally paid off.

Well done, my love.

Thanks also to Virgin for providing 'directions' on their VIP invites to the ceremony that...

1. Neglected to mention that the bus you need to get from the airport does not leave from the main coach station but a hidden bus stop sneakily hidden behind the terminal.

2. Instructed us to as the bus driver to let us know when we got to a certain road which was, amusingly, miles from where we actually needed to go. The bus in question, incidentally, went right past the building we were supposed to be visiting.

Thanks also to the man who asked as we rocked up to the ceremony dripping wet having walked some miles through the rain, "Did you have trouble finding it?"

No mate, we like walking around in the pissing rain. Or at least prefer it to talking to people like you.

Still, we made it in time for the ceremony, which was, as these things tend to be, thoroughly depressing.

Also, it's Mum's birthday today. Happy Birthday Mum!
