outrageous misfortune

In the news, an Egyptian blogger has been jailed for four years for insulting Islam. Presumably he’d said something like "You know the problem with Islam? No sense of humour. I mean you no sooner make a little joke about Allah going into a pub and then the security services are… oh hang on, there’s someone at the door. I’ll be right ba……."

But honestly, I was ok with most of what seemed to be happening over in the Middle East. Until I read the scandalous final lines

"Other Arab countries block access to sites relating to pornography and gambling."

This evil must be stopped.
