Good news, everyone's favourite crackpot arts prize has rolled around again. Yes, it's Turner time.

Stuck for ways to shock and appal Tory MPs, they've surpassed themselves and given the prize to... a painter (gasp!).

Bohemian bastards. What will they think of next.

Imagine the poor Daily Mail copysetters having to reset all those pre-arranged outraged headlines. "This isn't art!!! Proper art is painting and stuff. Oh, , hang on. It is painting. And quite attractive painting too. In paint. Dungless. No nudity. Erm, well, I suppose that's alright then. DOWN WITH IMMIGRANTS!"
