Warriors

Went on the rampage today around New York with Marky Mark. We stole several car stereos, mugged about fifteen people and beat up a cop.

Aren't video games fun? The Warriors (based on the cult film of the same name) features you as a gang member and you have to go out into the realistically rendered streets of New York (circa 1975) and rob, mug and graffiti your way to the top.

Beats walking around in the cold to see the city if you ask me.

OK, so I'll confess, I wasn't a good tourist today and a lot of it was spent in Mark's living room talking and playing games. But it was a New York based game, so that makes it alright. Right?

Anyway, in the evening we went on the quest for the perfect New York burger, winding up in a little diner called Pauls in the East Village. And after that we headed over to the upright citizen's brigade for a little improv comedy.

The comedy was ok, but i couldn't shake the feeling that my friends are funnier on a daily basis.

Maybe we should go on the stage?

Right, that's it today, see you tomorrow.

Hey, no need to go to NY to view the street crime; I witnessed my first mugging on the bus to Clapham Common Saturday night. This really didn't help my case in trying to get Nina to move over here (she was with me at the time), especially as she witnessed a mugging on the Kings Rd last time she was here!
