Critical mass
Roger Ebert is clearly a god amongst film critics. He is, in many ways, the Barry Norman of the USA, but frankly much, much better. The man shares my taste in movies to an impressive degree, which marks him out as a distinguished and intelligent character from the get go.
But as if that weren’t enough, there’s the beating he administers to Rob Schneider in his review of Deuce Bigalow 2, the least necessary sequel since Highlander 2 (he was the ONLY ONE, how one earth could… oh don’t get me started.)
Anyway, read the review, chuckle to yourself and sign up for the cult of Ebert.

Oh, and if you still don’t believe me that the man is a god, how about if I told you he wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls for Russ Meyer?
If that doesn’t convince you, you either have no soul, or you think man was made by God and placed on Earth about 10,000 years ago.
